Aries New Moon - April 10, 2013

The Aries New Moon cycle begins a four week period of taking a cosmic leap into uncharted territory.  This sign ignites you into action.  There is an opportunity to develop your daring 'Self' center.  Your life purpose is to leap into experiences that show you how strong and courageous you are. Mega Pisces New Moon - 3/11/13

This New Moon has a stellium of planets in the emotionally sensitive water sign of Pisces.  It sets intentions for new mandates that will become more evident later in the year.  Do your best Pisces, by serving the good of all.  There can be a surrender of people, places or things which deny ego satisfaction.  Surf through powerful emotions by being grounded in Spirit, and with compassion and forgiveness.  Create favorable conditions by using your tools of integration, and engaging others while coming from your highest potential place. This is truely the New Moon cycle of visions for the year ahead.

Lightning Up
Aquarius New Moon - 2/10/13

When you flash upon an idea about something imminent, you are riding the airwaves of Aquarius.  Here is the opportunity for you to bring something electric to the future of mankind.  Your life purpose is daring to be different without removing your 'Self' from the whole.  This is brought about with refined innovative thinking and knowing thy 'Self'.  Through unconditional love, you find your fellow group of lightning up workers.

Meanwhile, back on earth, the ruler of your root chakra, Saturn, will station retrograde on 2/18/13 until 7/7/13 in the sign of Scorpio.  This will begin a period of reviewing and making adjustments needed in the way you support yourself and take care of yourself.  Scorpio is a sign that deals with change, removal, and renewal.   It will be like pruning a tree, your tree of life from the inside out so you will know what will sustain you best come July.  Make limitations your friend. Saturn transits mean you will get something done.  It just may not be your agenda that gets done with so many planets in Pisces aspecting Saturn as it stations retrograde.

During this New Moon cycle, Mercury stations retrograde in the sign of Pisces on 2/23/13 until 3/17/13 too.  I would suggest not busting any big moves until after Mercury goes direct.  Pisces is not linear and it will be difficult to treat any idea in a linear manner.  Pretend you are a blank scrabble piece for Spirit and then see what comes to your mind during the retrograde period.  Finish what you already started rather than begin anew.  Call forth new visions, ideals, forgiveness and compassion.  Pray, walk by water, write down ideas on handy devices for later implementation.   Practice random acts of unconditional love.  Start by writing I love you on your bathroom mirror with shaving cream.  Laugh.  The world needs it.

Capricorn New Moon  1/11/13
Acceptance

This New Moon in Capricorn brings experiences of acceptance of earthly limitations, and circumstances. This may feel weight bearing, yet develops your shinning strength of character when you do so. 
No matter what your sun sign, Capricorn brings the lessons of knowing the beauty of solitude while snowshoeing in the winter, and of personal accomplishments that took great commitment.  

Letting go of things once valued, but are no longer sustainable, is represented in the trine from the New Moon to the South Node. Facing things with non-judgmental x-ray vision, to see what is useable and renewable, is indicated by the New Moon sextile to the North Node. Material and Spiritual accomplishments that are meaningful to your own soul are what is important.

Sudden changes in values, money or relationships, encourage a higher octave with Venus in Capricorn squaring Uranus in Aries on 1/12/13. Lots of exchange of information is highlighted on 1/18/13 with the Sun and Mercury united in Capricorn.
Jupiter stations direct in Gemini on 1/30/13. You will notice renewed expansion. By now, you have integrated the benefits of circulation, while superficiality, talking too much, or too many errands becomes a wind storm that blows your sense of purpose away. The station direct is an exclamation point to new endeavors and long range plans. This applies to whatever house Gemini rules.
Things get sensitive around the first week of February with the will of Mars and the mind of Mercury conjunct Neptune in Pisces. Neptune denies the ego, which pisses off Mars and can show up as snarky behavior or suffering from fighting what is. This planetary combo encourages Spiritual, mystical, meditative, sentimental, universal, global, forgiving, sacred, medical, psychological and compassionate pursuits.
The following New Moon cycle in Aquarius on 2/10/13 brings future shock or fresh ideas. Deepening from within begins as Saturn in Scorpio goes retrograde 2/18/13 to 7/7/13. Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces, 2/23/13 to 3/7/13. Mercury becomes a psychopomp for deceased ideals, to re-create and re-organize your mind in the underworld of unconsciousness, for new synchronicity and new mind to consciously emerge.

Sagittarius New Moon - 12/13/12
Spirals of Becoming

The journey of our solar system spiraling through the Milky Way, marks a new beginning at Winter Solstice for everyone. The Sagittarius New Moon cycle of 12/13/12, holds various celebrations of a return to light. This is the last new moon of 2012. It is one of the most meaningful in your lifetime, whether you are consciously aware of it or not. 

On the New Moon, Uranus stations direct in the sign of Aries to attune you to higher octaves of thinking and Self awareness. Two days later, Venus enters Sagittarius to aim for values of expansiveness, faith in the laws of nature (not your personal law), and optimism. 

Winter Solstice, 12/21/12, is the ending of the Mayan Calendar, and marks a new beginning. Saturn traveling through the sign of Scorpio, represents “the time is now”, as well as limitations and the consciousness of society. Through this sign, he tests your awareness of time, traditions, and ability to remember with any ending there is rebirth and renewal in endless spirals of becoming. 

Accepting the differences of background in others is suggested by the Sabian symbols in this cycle. Harshness or projecting your own lack of responsibility onto others is wounding. Making commitments to look at your own poop, to heal and forgive yourself and others brings the light you seek. This is the potential from Saturn in Scorpio trine Chiron, Hygiea, and Neptune in Pisces.  

Look toward new potentials and new or rewritten relationship contracts (metaphorical or otherwise) that may seem somewhat fated. This is due to the New Moon trine the Vertex in Aries.

The Hunt - Scorpio New Moon
and Solar Eclipse 11/13/12
Sometimes getting your needs met is like a duck hunt. Gear up. Get up at ungodly hours of the day in all kinds of weather. All this, to get duck almandine at the family dinner. If you are vegan, then substitute tofu. In any case, this image is what an entrepreneur or an employee goes through. This is what you go through to get a job. This is what you go through to go shopping at Costco during busy hours. This is you in Scorpio energy, dealing with getting what you need and don’t yet have.     

How do you ask for your needs? What do you put yourself through to do so and is it time to re-evaluate? Scorpio New Moon and especially Saturn in Scorpio during the next couple years will give you practice in this investigation. How do you ask for a loan, sex, a pat on the back, power, prestige, a car, or whatever? The high end to aim for is direct and honest truth with no strings attached. The shadow is push and shove, manipulation and strings. “I’ll love you if…” 

The hunt and the ability to rebirth like a phoenix will require more effort during the next couple years with Saturn spinning through the sign of Scorpio. The strong and practiced in these areas are rewarded and the weaker will be pruned away. Your best aim is to develop emotional and psychological resilience and honesty. Shed baggage, minimize your debt ratio, clean up karmic debt and otherwise. This means exercising discipline in thinking long term too. It also means accepting death and rebirth cycles.

So, that’s what this New Moon cycle in Scorpio creates. Opportunities abound for you to practice. Oh yeah, the Solar Eclipse on 11/13/12. Energy is changing in what you hunt for and why you hunt for it. Issues, assistance from others, networks and karmic debts are eclipsed by new immediate needs. Precarious Balance - New Moon in Libra

10/15/12

Mindfully speaking, Libra energy is about finding life in the middle. Use the balancing scales of Libra energy to practice not living in the past, not living in the future but, live in the balance of the present.  
Stay in the present moment with each individual. Avoid conversing about relived past wounds or daydreaming of future encounters, or engaging in conversations of hearsay. Stay open and present. Esoteric astrology calls this, ‘right relationship’. 

There are other balancing challenges in life as well. Finding balance between material and spiritual needs is not always easy. Strive to maintain a balanced quality (not quantity) of life. In this way you strengthen what you sincerely have to offer your relationships. Relationship is also what Libra is about.

The planet Saturn is infusing this New Moon in Libra with pragmatism and no time for fluff. This cycle has its challenges and gifts for you to practice living life in the middle of the present. The Sun sweeps over Saturn in Scorpio with a conjunction 10/25/12, to energize karmic debt or reward, serious commitments, and eliminations. 

Mercury in Scorpio is conjunct the North Node on 10/25/12 to deliver the news. Make decisions or travel plans before the Full Moon on 10/29/12. After that, you can expect changes of thought and plans so, be flexible and stay in balance. Mercury, will be in its shadow after the Full Moon and preparing to turn retrograde on 11/6/12 through 11/26/12. During this period, the Sun will be conjunct Mercury retrograde 11/17/12, in the emotional water sign of Scorpio. 

This conjunction day will override the retrograde to show you the backwater in your life and begin to give you the information to do something about it. This day is a crack in the mental brick wall that will allow you to see the light of new information you will need to go forward.   

Health wise, Libra rules the kidneys that maintain the acid and alkaline balance in your body. Nourish your body with plenty of water and alkalizing foods at this time (sugar is not alkalizing-sorry). Living an unbalanced life creates an acidic body. Parsley tea is nourishing to the kidneys and helps to break down crystalized acids. Fresh air and breathing exercises (go for a brisk walk) help to alkalize the blood.  

Overall, this cycle is about the practice of right relationship. Remember that everyone in your life is a mirror of some sort to your own strengths or fur balls. Be present. Maintain balance. Play nice. After the Full Moon, double check your documents, ideas and communications. Be patient with delays and practice living your life in balance, in body, mind, and spirit.
