Leo New Moon - 8/17/12

Like breaking light after a long storm, the appearance of a rainbow brings a feeling of relief and blessing. Some people are like rainbows too when they enter a room. In the case of this Leo New Moon cycle, it is the perfect time to evoke a feeling of relief, blessing, inspiration and light within your Self. Whatever your inner light amperage, it will shine out to others based on where your dial is at. It is a time to shine, from within your Self first.

Neptune is opposing the Leo New Moon and both events are square the Moon’s nodal axis. This influence may inspire random acts of generosity without expecting much in return, other than love. This cycle can soften arrogance with the Neptunian air brush. Confusion, chaos and low levels of life force will thwart the ego until surrendered to a higher purpose.

You will have all the energy you need when divinely inspired. Otherwise, you will need more sleep or retreat time to take in the ethereal downloads. In the energy of Leo, you are challenged to integrate new levels of compassion, awareness, sensitivity, understanding and coming from the heart, for yourself and others. AND, do all that in the eye of the storm. Neptune involvement implies taking advantage of the occasional spontaneous moment to be still and allow your heart and mind to become one. 

Power, rebirth, karmic and material debts, become a new guide post of concern with the Moon’s nodal axis shifting signs on 8/29/12. The North Node, your North Star, will shift into the sign of Scorpio while the South Node will be in Taurus. Scorpio is the sign of understanding complexity while Taurus prefers simplicity. Scorpio is the enema process of the emotional body, mind and spirit in order to bring forth renewal. Purification from old “stuff” and empowering others becomes the true power realized.

Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto retrograde in the sign of Capricorn in this cycle. Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio. The combo within this cycle can be a powerful energy to bring forth the will to do good work if used for the good of all. It can be destructive if integrity is manipulatively based or motivations are not crystal clear.

All this action is within you. The choice is yours on how you choose to reflect those ribbons of rainbow light. Leo the lion hearted is the king/queen of the jungle of life. This is the sign of mojo, life force, and solar light. This cycle is a time to strengthen and fire up your Will power and courage. The sun is the ruler of Leo and energizes all Sun signs at this cycle. No matter what your sun sign is, lead the various parts in your life with confident calmness in the eye of a storm. Cut loose the things in your life that diffuse your light. Rest, heal, and retreat when you need, in order to let your Clear Light shine.
